Support for Parents & Young People

Parent Advice Clinic

€200

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual. Nor do the precious souls that are borne to us. We are here to provide support in whatever way you need.

Our parent advice clinics are designed to provide you with a quick and convenient “drop in” service, where you can meet with one of our Clinical Psychologists. The clinic includes a 1.5 hr consultation, and focuses on a specific issue you would like to discuss relating to your son or daughter. The consultation can address a range of issues, including parenting strategies, responding to challenging behaviours, supporting your child’s emotional regulation, sleep difficulties, feeding difficulties, attention/concentration problems and communication issues. Our clinic is open to parents/caregivers (children do not attend these clinics) of children aged 0 – 17, and can be accessed in person or online. We can also facilitate family sessions.

Mental Health Assessment

€180

For when you would like a professional opinion about your best pathway to care. Whether it’s therapy, an ADHD or ASD assessment, our 90mins assessments with a Clinical Psychologist can help you figure out what is right for you. Also available for young people aged 7-18.

It can be difficult to know what path to take when you are concerned about your own mental health, or that of your son or daughter. Our initial screening service provides you / your child with the opportunity to meet with an accredited expert for a comprehensive assessment of mental health needs. This service includes a 1.5 hour consultation with a Clinical Psychologist. You are free to discuss a range of issues during this consultation, including low mood, anxiety/worry, stress, sleep problems, attention/concentration difficulties, bereavement, obsessive/compulsive problems, issues relating to friends or school, and communication difficulties. After the screening, your Psychologist will provide you with a recommended treatment plan and pathway towards the appropriate care, if required. Depending on the complexity of the issue, more than one screening appointment may be required.

CHILD + ADOLESCENT - Therapy

€90 for 45 mins

We have recruited accredited and exceptional therapists who specialise in online therapy with young people. If your young person is aged 12-18, get in contact at the button below and we will personally match you to a therapist.
